A short monologue about mental health and homelessness, called Invisible.
This is the single most important project I have ever been indirectly involved in, if only to lend my image. This stunning track is deeply personal to Iona, with powerful lyrics and a beautiful video.
1 in 4 women experience sexual abuse or sexual violence, and yet many of those voices are never heard.

Listener Review: 29/09/21 "Jen Roehrig’s story is truly remarkable. Facing a very real, ‘terminal’ crisis from a spinal injury – paralysis from the waist down with little expectation that she would walk again, feeling helpless and vulnerable, with frequent panic attacks and chronic self-doubt – Jen spent ten years in therapy and had the strength of character to overcome her crisis with determination, resilience and above all courage, ultimately achieving success and fulfilment through her university degree aged 40+ and an emerging ‘Second Chapter’ career as an actor. Jen tells her story with insight, disarming honesty and great wisdom. Far from being satisfied, however, she continues to reach for greater goals not only for herself but also to inspire others ‘of a certain age’ – particularly women – to follow their dreams".
Broadcast on 25/09/21, listen to my interview with Rob from Everything Theatre, discussing the relationship between mental health and theatre, my current projects and my own battles with mental health.
